How to Get the Velothi Ut-Mage's Amulet: Guide and Information

The Velothi Ur-Mage's Amulet is a Mythic item that was added to ESO with the Necrom Chapter. 

It grants the wearer significantly higher Offensive Penetration (armour piercing) and increases damage done to Monsters and Critical Damage by 15%. However it will also reduce your Light and Heavy Attack damage by 99%. 

This effect makes the Mythic ideal for players who are not good at weaving Light or Heavy Attacks in their rotation, or simply do not like to do so. 

To be able to obtain this item, you'll need access to the Greymoor DLC for the Antiquities system, and Necrom for the Mythic itself. 

The Velothi Ur-Mage's Amulet item can be created through the Antiquities system. You have to scry and excavate five leads. The leads are all master level, so you need to be at least level 7 in the scrying skill line and excavation skill line. Master level leads are fairly difficult and it could take you several attempts to get the desired item, but don't give up!
